Sausage Balls - Keto Breakfast Meal Prep

This super simple recipe is perfect to just throw in a cup and head out the door when you're running late to work

Ingredients

  • 32 oz Sausage uncooked
  • 16 oz Sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Almond Flour
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.

  2. Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.

  3. Form into 1" balls.

  4. Bake 15-18 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet until golden brown.

Recipe Notes

These end up being relatively greasier than the original recipe since there isn't something like biscuit mix to soak it up. If you want a crispier sausage ball, bake them on an oven safe baking rack over the pan for 18 minutes. This prevents the sausage balls from cooking in the grease itself.
